Street Cred Stack Up

Donald Glover has been busy.

Perhaps best known for his role as Troy Barnes on NBC's Community, Glover recently appeared in Band of Outsiders' new Spring/Summer lookbook. The blogs went nuts (it's Band of Outsiders, of course they did.)

So it shouldn't be a surprise that the equation of actor+fashion+musician is one Troy the "Golden Boy" embraces. Via Internet, Glover has released a couple of mixtapes under the name Childish Gambino. Clever rhymes, plenty o' pop culture references, and the use of songs from Neon Indian, Washed Out, Discovery, and Grizzly Bear make for a good listen. From "Bitch, Look at Me Now":

I'm a try and make my street cred stack up/ I mean I'm rapping over Grizzly Bear wtf?
